Orthopedic Surgery Specialist
I was born in Mersin in 1971.
I graduated from Tarsus American High School in 1989 and continued my education at Gülhane Military Medical Academy Faculty of Medicine. I graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy Faculty of Medicine in 1996. In 2003, I completed my specialization training at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic and started working as an orthopedics and traumatology specialist.
I became interested in Complementary Medicine starting in 2010. I received training in the fields of neural therapy, prolotherapy, acupuncture and microsystem acupuncture (Ear, Yamamato Siener).
In 2013, I received the International Neural Therapy certificate from the International Federation of Medical Associations of Neural Therapy. After working in different hospitals of the Turkish Armed Forces, I had the opportunity to work with Prof. Dr. G. Gary Poehling on arthroscopic surgery and robotic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the USA for one year with a scholarship from the Land Forces Command in 2012. I received training in microsurgery, arthroscopic surgery (shoulder, knee, hip and ankle) and robotic surgery at Wake Forest University. In June of 2012, I completed training for MAKOplasty (Robotic Knee and Hip Replacement) in Ft. Laurdale, Florida.
After retiring from the Turkish Armed Forces with the rank of Tbp. Colonel in February 2016, I worked at Harvard University/ Harris Orthopaedic Biomechanics and Biomaterials Laboratory, Massachusetts General Hospital until December 2016. I completed the Prolotherapy, Mesotherapy, Cupping, Ozonetherapy, Phytotherapy and Acupuncture Certificate programs at Yıldırım Beyazıt University Traditional and Complementary Medicine Application and Research Center.
I am currently working as a faculty member at Toros University. I provide healing to my patients in my private practice.
